can't use Microsoft account

hey guys

I've just checked my Microsoft account and I saw there was almost 8 dollars in it that I took from rewards. I've tried to buy a dlc with it but the option of using Microsoft account money won't appear when I press the "change payment option" it only shows
my credit card. what should I do? I've tried it from my Xbox too and it tells me to find another way to pay.

is there anyway to fix it or it isn't worth the trouble?

I can't use my Microsoft account money

Man idk what's goin on. I just put 2 $25 gift cards on my account and I had a balance of $50. I just bought dark souls 3 season pass for $24.99 plus tax on my xbox and it automatically used my account balance and it told it did. Okay now I'm trying to buy
starwars the force unleashed 2 for backwards compatable for $19.99 and it won't let me use my account money. Won't even give me an option to choose too. It just wants to use my debit card. Even tried buying it on my account and it still wouldn't let me. Idk
what to do man.

You should be able to use the currency in your account to make the purchase on your console. However, please be aware of the amount of tax in your region. The cost of the first item may have been $24.99 but you would need to add on the taxes. It may be
that you no longer have enough in your account to cover the full cost of the 2nd game.

If you are trying to purchase from the website you cannot use the currency option as it is not available.

From the console there is no option to pay with currency. It is the default payment option. If there is money in there it will take from there first. If the amount (including taxes) goes over what you have in your currency then you would need an alternate
payment option to cover the difference.

Yes, I did it on both of them, but no avail, my account is one year old And I changed my region only once on July 2023

When you say you did it.on your.accoumt you mean account.microsoft.com?

Of not you need to.do it.there as it the region migration. Tool which can only be used every ,3,months

If your account is less then ,3months old you cannot use the tool till 3months passes
