    There are no ways to transfer funds out of your Microsoft account.

    You do get prepaid gold cards at retailers that sell games etc.

    you cannot use your microsoft account currency to buy xbox live gold memberships.

    You either need to enter a 25 character xbox live gold card that you have purchased or use a credit/debit card on your account to buy the membership directly.
