Can't update games from microsoft store because gaming services is having an install error

Hi, I can't update any game that comes from the xbox app, or microsoft store because "gaming services" needs an update but encounters an error when trying to install.

now mans sky just had a major update, along with some other titles iI own and I'm unable to proceed in updating them because of this issue, all of my drivers are up to date, no windows updates available, and so

if a game is uninstalled, it can no longer be installed again because of this issue

Hello There ! I advise you to Restart your device. As basic as this is, a simple restart can set many things right. You can also to try to make sure your device is online. If needed, follow the steps in:

it was an issue with the program itself, not my computer

please stop treating gamers like dummies.

I've already done very basic trouble shooting steps, I've restarted, done cold boots, turned off game bar, checked all drivers, updated windows
used powershell to remove and reinstall a package. telling people something they already know isn't helpful

not sure why I'd be trying to update if I was offline?

please assist in the issue without being demeaning, and assuming I don't even have common sense level of knowledge on operating my computer

there also isn't a connection issue, can play games online currently, steam has no issues, battle net and ubisoft connect, and epic games store have no issues. it's JUST xbox gaming services

the issue makes it to where i'm unable to play games that need to be updated, and i'm unable to update them because the Gaming services refuse to update.

I only have one "gaming services" and it is unable to start due to the error above, which I believe stems from the original problem of my post, since I can't install gaming services through the Microsoft store.

I also have a similar issue... with code 0x00000001 for one app and 0x80073D19 for an other

Even with a fresh install with the latest optionnal updates I still can't play nor install any games from the MS store.

Have you checked your services?

One of the gaming services is always stopped and can't start.

+ when reinstalling the gaming services app from microsoft store, I have not received any User Account Control (UAC) prompt. Is it the case for you?
