Can't unmute one person

I have tried everything I can think of I cannot get this person to be unmuted any advice

Permanent mute

I muted a person and now I can’t unmute that person, It’s like a permanent mute because I select the unmute button but it doesn’t unmute the person.

How can I solve this??

Xbox party muting

Anyone else getting this mute problem on Xbox. I don't mute people. But yet mates join party muted. And can't unmute them. Xbox is getting really bad.

Happen to my mate last night. And now me. And when unmute it. Someone joins an it mutes the person before an the person who joins. Y. Think time to move to ps

Also note that you can check your NAT type in Settings > Network (the center column there).

And also, don't forget to try a power cycle by turning off your console and unplugging it for 30 seconds, that can't hurt.
