    Can't unmute headset on xbox


    My sons xbox has a muted sign in the right hand corner of the screen and others cannot hear him on his headset but he can hear them, we cannot find an option to unmute, we have tried everything and nothing seems to work.

    thanks for the reply Denis.. I've had a look through the privacy but can't find anything that relates to the headset/controller.. it is set to 'adult' though

    If it's this option.. it's set to friends already, not blocked

    Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites
    Decide who to communicate with on Xbox Live using voice and text and also who sends you invitations to parties or clubs

    This setting is about who you want to communicate with. To block or allow communications on a console, check the online safety settings in the other tabs.
