    Can't unlink a Minecraft from a different PSN account


    I'm unable to unlink the Minecraft account from my parent's psn account. Once I'm unlinking the account the game crashes, I've sent one report to support after the crash. After the crash I return to Minecraft on PS4 and it says to check my internet connection. Connection is working and I'm logged in to PSN on PS4.

    All I need to get sorted out is to get the account unlinked from my stepdad's PSN and to get it able to link to my PSN account instead.

    I've done so many purchases to my account and I can't afford to get new ones for a long time.

    Could you help me with this issue please?

    I have this same error.

    Except to my knowledge I have never linked my Microsoft account and PSN before trying to do so today. I only recently linked my Java edition minecraft to my Microsoft account, and today thought I'd try the Playstation version of the game. When I log into my microsoft account it says it is already connected to a different account.

    How can I find out which Microsoft account has been linked to my PSN?

    Sorry to say but unlink a PSN account from a Microsoft account is not possible.

    Is stated in the link below:

    "WARNING Once a Microsoft account has been linked to a PlayStation:registered: account, neither the Microsoft account nor the PlayStation:tm: Network account can be associated with a different account. 

    If you choose to unlink accounts, then purchases will be returned to the account which made the purchase. Even after unlinking, Microsoft and PlayStation:registered: accounts can only be re-linked to the original account."

    In this case you may need to use a different PSN account and link it to a new Microsoft account even if you're able to unlink the account without the game crashes

    Hello Nathan, thanks for your response, the platform I’m on is PlayStation Network. The Microsoft account I have linked to my psn account is different from my in game minecraft Microsoft account. Shouldn’t I be able to somehow unlink the minecraft Microsoft account from the game so it can change to the actual account that’s connected to psn? Sorry if this sounds confusing.
