Can't type on keyboard

Hi there,

After yesterday's update, I can no longer type on my keyboard when streaming games on my PC.

Previously, I could use the windows app to turn on my xbox and steam to my PC and play, using the controller via usb connection. Whenever I used something that required typing, such as searching for something or using chat in game, it would bring up a small
window that said "typing on xbox one" and I could type the message via my keyboard. Now that feature has disappeared. I have looked at my settings on both the app and my xbox and can't see what has changed. I have the "typing on the xbox" setting in the app
turned on, but cannot find anything on the xbox to allow typing.

Any help is appreciated.

I recently got an Xbox one and I can't seem to sign it, when I try to do so the keyboard doesn't pop up and I cannot type anything the keyboard just won't show up please help

Sadly, you can't. You can use a keyboard to type messages via the text form to send to people, but that's it.

Also having this problem ever since the new dashboard went live for all.

Cannot get the virtual keyboard to appear on the xbox w10 app nor the smartglass app (Android).

Doesn't work for in game text chat, dashboard typing, or messaging.
