Can't synchronize controller to Xbox One

You have to synchronize a wireless joystick with the console in exactly the same way that you have to synchronize a wireless controller.

On the controller is the Xbox have a button for synchronization you have to press them both together so as to synchronize the controller

when you play a game on the Xbox One console, it synchronizes the save game with Xbox Live. If a console is powered down while the save was not fully synchronized, you can't continue where you left off on a different console. You will have to power on the
console last played on for a while so it can finish synchronizing. After it is synchronized you can continue on a different console again.

it seems that the problem has to do with the synchronization you should re-synchronize it with your xbox, remember that both the control and the xbox have synchronization buttons, that should solve the problem

when i attempt to synchronize the controller to the Xbox, the synchronization stops as if they had finnished syncronising, but the controller keeps flashing its lights as if trying to connect
