Can't start some Game Pass PC games

I can't start some Game Pass games (PC), even those I've been able to play before. Games seem to randomly be unavailable for equally random amounts of time, days or weeks, until I can suddenly play them again. Meanwhile I can play some other games on Game Pass. This is a recurring issue. Is there a way to fix this?

I have inserted an example of the error message I get when trying to start a game. It reads:

"It is not possible to open the app

See if there is more information about Wasteland 3 in Windows Store".

To clarify, this is not an issue with a single game, but multiple, if not most. This happens randomly, even with games I have played before, just a day after I last played them.

Hi, my name is Fernando and I am an independent consultant for Microsoft products.

Check if your windows and all its services are up to date:

- Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

- Click Check for Updates;

- Click the Download and Install Now option, if available;

Go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.

If the issue persist:

- In the windows search bar type "Powershell"

- Right click and select open as administrator

- Type the command: "get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-Appxpackage –allusers"

Wait for the process to finish and then restart the PC and open the gamepass app, it will ask you to reinstall the gaming services, install it, and try again.

Games like Borderlands 2 or Minecraft can be install if I had a xbox one but to PC I can't (xbox game pass PC) !! Why ?!

Tve Xbox Game Pass from console its different from the Xbox Game Pass on PC!

Some games are exclusive for console and others for PC.

Btw remember tha Xbox Game Pass on PC it's just started, so you will see more and more games will be add on Game Pass.

But Borderlands and Minecraft were always exclusive for PC (for years)... but for MS and "Game Pass" both are exclusive for Console ! 🤔

I can't help with the EA portion, but I can help answer some of your issues.

Problem 1: Unless you start using a console again, the only things you would lose by using standard PC Game Pass versus Ultimate, is the ability to use the Cloud. PC Game Pass doesn't have the same games as console game pass because some of those games are not available on the PC through the Microsoft Store. so that will limit some of the games you can access with Game Pass.

Problem 2:

Only games that support Play Anywhere will show as available on the PC if you already bought them digitally from Xbox. https://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/xbox-play-anywhere Otherwise, the developers would consider the games for PC as being a different platform and you would need to purchase them again in order to play them on PC.
