Can't Signoff of Xbox on Public Computer

Thanks for replying and keeping us updated. Since you seem to have attempted all the troubleshooting available for this sign out issue and it is still persisting, you may want to reach out to the library staff to ask about their policy concerning the computers,
or their IT person if possible. If your library is anything like the public or university ones I've frequented, they may do a restart or some sort of info wipe to the computers there at the end of the day. It would be best to approach them at this point to
see if they can provide you with this information.

So today, for the first time, I am signed out of Bing search on two of the public computers...

I don't know what was different about today.

My not being able to sign out of Bing search was going on for several weeks.

So lets keep this thread open for a while longer.

I will check again next week and the week after.

If I stay signed out for two more weeks, I will assume that Microsoft has fixed this through an update.

Thank you for the reply, but this did not work either.

I went to a public computer.

I went to the xbox app and signed off.

I went to https://account.microsoft.com/devices/ and removed five public computers from my Microsoft computer.

I signed off of Microsoft Account.

I signed off of Bing.

I opened edge and cleared cookies and passwords.

I rebooted.

I opened edge to Bing search and it still had me signed into my Microsoft account.

How can I fully sign off of a public computer?

Hello Dennis,

You will need to clear all the cookies, passwords etc. also. As it has you signing in automatically when you go to these games it signs your profile in then re-associates it. Clear all the cookies even passwords,. Before doing so make sure know passwords
to different sites you use. Then disassociate the devices again on https://account.microsoft.com/devices/. Try this and let us know.

Thank you for keeping us updated on the situation. I spoke with one of my colleagues and we came to the conclusion that it's possible your account is still signed into the Xbox app programmed into Windows 10 PC's since you played Microsoft Minesweeper. This
is causing the account to still be linked to other Microsoft services like Bing.

Check the Xbox App and make sure you are fully signed out from the Xbox app too:
