Can't sign up - unavailable in my country

Hi!

I've recently discovered the Rewards program and wanted to join, but when I tried to sign up, it said it is unavailable in my country.

I think it's weird because the page promoting the program is all in Portuguese (I'm in Brazil), so it sure looks like it IS available in my country.

When I checked my account, it indeed said I was living in Dubai or something (no idea why). I already changed it, but the error message is still the same.

Does anybody else has this issue? How do I solve that?

I am Gold subscriber from Russia, and i wish to buy Pinball FX2. But i can't to do this because in unavailable in my country. Why??

Hello Alberto Caeiro,

We see that your Microsoft Account information is currently set to the Arabian Emirates region. Since that region is not a valid Rewards program region, you cannot register into the program. If you have only recently migrated to a different region, keep
in mind that it takes us up to 96 hour to receive and process changes to data, so we have not yet received that information. Additionally, you have no Microsoft billable account associated with your account. From the FAQ:

How do I make sure my Microsoft account is properly set up to receive Xbox Live Rewards deposits?

In order to receive deposits in the form of your country's local currency, your Microsoft account must be transitioned to currency. As long as you have a billing address on file in your account,
you simply need to redeem an Xbox gift card, a Microsoft Points card, or a Microsoft Points code with your Microsoft account to begin your account transition.

Since you do not have any Microsoft billing account for us to deposit into, you cannot register into the program.

Yeah, I am having the same problem. I had my profile on a flash drive and I can't find it. So now I just want to recover it; however, it keeps saying the xbox live sign up is currently unavailable.
