Can't sign into Xbox live for backwards compatible.

I never had a problem playing black ops 2 on my Xbox series x until now. When I try to click on Xbox live in the game it tells me to download my profile. I click download profile and then it says "can't connect to Xbox live select test connection.". Anyone else having a problem?

I mean I see what you are coming from but when I play backwards compatible it says signed into xbox live.. once the servers go down on the 360 then you can't be signed into xbox live correct?

Yeah. There are several threads with this issue. It's not just Gears 3, but a general issue with backwards compatibility I believe.

I am having the same issues. Can't wait until there is a solution.

The weird thing with me is that I actually WAS connected to Xbox Live for about an hour. I shut off my box, and signed in later only to not have it connect to XBL on the backwards compatibility.

I'm currently having the same exact issue. I can't connect any of my backwards compatible games to Xbox Live on my Xbox One. I've restarted twice and checked my internet. Neither of these are the issues. My NAT is open and evrything else is fine. I can't
connect to Xbox Live on backwards compatible games at all!

On the Xbox status website it says everything is up and running.. I know yesterday it was down.

Xbox Live for the Xbox 360 (includes Xbox One, Series X|S back compat) is currently down at the moment. No ETA on a fix.

Can't sign into Xbox live for backwards compatible.
