Can't sign into my xbox live acount in xbox app for pc.

the xbox acount isnt in my email and I would need ti get into contact with that person, in which I can't this moment. currently the xbox is on the sign in page

I was having the same issue with my main acount and my smurf acount ( just a extra account) but i kept going through acounts tell one loged in and once one worked i was able to trick my xbox in signing in to my main acount by using the switch acount option.

Ya come to find out some how my other email address was assinged to a live acount. It must of happend when I installed that windows 8 xbox live app.
