Can't sign in to MS apps

Even though it signs me in, but I keep getting a message saying "No MS account", even though it signs me in and the fact I'm here posting this.

Tried getting into the solitaire collection too and same message. a pop-up screen appears, signs me in, yet as soon as i close the pop up box down, a white box appears giving me the option to either sign in or play as guest.

Edit: Oh aye, this is via my win 10 laptop. My phone isn't set up to use xbox apps, so not attempted that.

Can't Sign into MS Jigsaw.

I'm sorry to see any issues with signing in to Jigsaw. I'm going to throw some basic troubleshooting at you, however please do let me know if you've already tried them.

First, ensure that your PC is
fully updated. This resolves issues if Windows is not fully updated, so it's the first thing we try. If you are fully updated or it doesn't work, try

uninstalling and reinstalling Jigsaw.

If you've done that and it still doesn't work, have you tried it on another gamertag/Microsoft account? You can do this with another user on the PC if you do not want to sign out of the Xbox App.

Lastly, if none of that works, do you mind posting back a screenshot of the error you are receiving? This will help me out with anything that I need to troubleshoot on the PC end.

Can't sign in to MS Solitare error 1170000

Getting an error code 1170000 and not signing into Xbox to get my history.

 

Help no longer required. Just deleted/uninstalled all files relating to the xbox app. The entire thing was just asking for me to sign in and then going back to the sign in page again once i had signed in. Not sure what happened to the app, but it seemed
broken beyond repair and not messing around with that for days on end.

Sorry to hear you were having so much trouble with this. Did you actually get the Xbox App running again after uninstalling and reinstalling? Or did you not reinstall?

That was the second uninstall. The previous one didn't change anything. All fully updated (both the app and win 10). I can't get into Minecraft, solitaire collection and a host of other games that are attached to the app. Well, that's not completely true,
I can get into some of them but only as a guest.

I also tried everything that is suggested on both the official site and on other sites as as redit. Like changing settings from manual to automatic and so on. Just signs me in. I get the pop up box (the one with the 3 avatars) telling me it's signing
me in, it signs me in, I then close that box and the white sign in box appears again asking me to do it all again. The little circle at the top of the app just keeps spinning.

Nothing wrong with any connections, no issue actually signing in, just getting it to stick that's the issue. This site loads fine as does every other site. Tried it both wired and wifi, just to make doubly sure. No difference.

I also used my daughter's log in details to see if it was an issue with my account, but same issue.

 

Hi Prof Bawag, Sorry to hear about your experience. We are aware of some sign in issues, but your issue seems unique. By any chance are you able to report this issue via Xbox App Beta so we can request an investigation with logs included?
