Can’t Sign In to Minecraft on iPadOS

No VPN, direct connection through home Wi-Fi. iPad 8th gen, fully updated. I deleted and reinstalled app prior to posting. The issue is that the log on page isn’t correctly encoded to allow clicking the “log in” button. The same issue exists in the Xbox Live iPad app.

I tried to replicate your problem in my iPad.
But I was able to sign in without problems

Let’s try to isolate the problem a bit more:

A. Go to settings > general > transfer or reset iPad > reset > reset network settings
Once the iPad restarts give it a new try

B. Go to settings > safari > clear history and website data
Once you select that
Go here in safari https://account.microsoft.com/profile and sign in with the desired account (select keep me signed in or something like remember this device)
Do the same on Xbox.com
After that reinstall Minecraft and try again

I followed your instructions. Login from the app is still not working. From the website, the reply is “We can’t sign you in. JavaScript is required to sign in. Your browser either does not support JavaScript or it is being blocked.” The same thing happens on Xbox.com.

Hi, exists the possibility that JavaScript is disabled for Safari.
Double check this via iPad settings > Safari > scroll down to the bottom and tap on Advanced > JavaScript toggle needs to be enabled

After that go back to Safari settings and disable the “Block pop-ups” toggle temporarily

Finally restart your iPad and try again this

Do the same on Xbox.com
Open Minecraft and try again

I can suggest you some things but if the issue persists you may need to reach Minecraft support.

But before that please tell me:

Is your iPad up to date?

For this please go to Settings > General > Software update

If there is a pending update please install it and give it a new try once your iPad restarts

If everything is up to date, did you tried reinstalling the app?

did you tried using a completely different wifi network to see how it goes?

Or if you have a VPN or similar service please turn off all the protections temporarily
