    Can't sign in to either Xbox or Microsoft websites


    When I attempt to log in to Xbox.com I hit the sign in button, and all it does is reload the page without having signed me in. On the Microsoft website when I attempt to log in, it does the same thing. There's no errors saying the password is wrong or the page can't be found on either website. Ironically, I appear to be logged in currently on this answers website, but if I go to click on 'My Microsoft Account' it takes me to the log in page where I get stuck in the sign in loop.

    For some clarification I've attempted to log in on both sites using Firefox, Chrome, and Edge on my home PC. I've also attempted logging on to them through my android phone Chrome browser, as well as the Microsoft Edge browser on my Series X console. My initial thought was that I had a browser extension messing something up, but i've tried using all three browsers without extensions to no effect. I've cleared my browser history as well.

    This sound like the issue I have been attempting to report.

    I was also not getting any proper error messages until I tried to log in using the Minecraft Launcher. The log in form in the launcher told me my account had been blocked due to login attempts.

    I had to reset my password in order to gain full access to my account again.

    The hindrance and cause of this issue could be either app/software or firewall or security restriction that does not allow you to browse or visit these sites. Let us check on this together and sort this out in timely manner.

    To have a better understanding, we would like to further isolate your concern.

    • May we know if you are part of Microsoft Family?
    • Is the admin of the home PC your family member?
    • Are all those devices connected to one internet?

    Are you not using a VPN or similar?

    If not, may I know if you tried to reset the password instead to see if you can access to the account in that way?
