Can't sign in on apps

I just found out about the play anywhere program, and wanted to give it a try by playing Sea of thieves. But my Xbox app isn't signing me on and giving me this code 0x80070520. so I Thought maybe I can reinstall it through the micrsoft store app. Nope,
same problem. So I thought, I'll try by using the sites. It's prompting my apps that can't sign in. what do I do?

Sorry, for lack of updates, work can be exhausting and most of the time I just want to go to bed afterwards.

But after trying what you showed, no still didn't go through, I appreciate the help though.

link clickable but what has worked for me is going to Settings > App > Xbox > Advanced options and then clicking the Reset button on that page. After that, restart the computer, and see if that lets you log in.

Alternatively, you could search the Windows 10 store for "Xbox (Beta)" app and downloading that, and seeing if you get an error logging in there. The beta app is pretty stable, only had a few issues, but it can be helpful here in helping troubleshoot what
the issue is.

I would suggest contacting an Xbox Live support agent by following the steps below. The agent would be able to look into your account and see what might be causing that issue.

Step 1 ----Select Xbox One

Step 2 ----Select See other options

Step 3 ----Select topic (Ex. System Update)

Step 4 ----Select "Show contact options"

Step 5 ----Select request a call from support

What sort of network are you on? Is it a home network or public? Id also ask what sort of anti-virus or security software you have installed and see if that might be blocking the sign in?

@ Galaxy Golden, may I have the directions plz?

@PalmettoBling, it was a good idea, but sadly didn't work, thanks though.

Basically anything that prompts that little sign in window. isn't working. so I am at a loss.
