Can’t sign in on 360 games meaning I can’t save progress

I downloaded gears of war 3 from the game pass and usually i have no issue playing 360 games but whenever i open gears 3 i get a pop up telling me data won’t be saved as i need to sign in but doesn’t give me any option to be able too, i thought it could
be a glitch so i played the first two acts and did not get any achievements etc and once i saved and quit when i reopened the game my progress had all been lost, just wondering what i can do to resolve the issue

actually I had this exact same issue while playing Gears of war 2, what I did is, deleted my Xbox 360 profile from Xbox one, then redownloaded the profile from cloud storage & that worked.

Have you tried to perform a hard reset your console?

Here's how:

Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
the console.

Try restarting your Router, you may have connection problems

unplug console for 5 mins replug retry game and select the save option. Did it connect to the 360 server does it state your signed in on live?

I don’t know if we are connected to Xbox Live when we are playing the game.

I can’t launch the game, so I can’t uninstall

I am fairly sure all the saved progress files are on the HD
