Can't send messages on the windows 10 xbox app

My age registered is my legal age wich is 18+, so there should be not parental privacy restrictions for me. I think I have solved the issue by logging of the xbox and microsoft store app and log back in. It seems to work fine for now

I think I figured out a way to solve the issue, I completely logged of the xbox and microsoft store on my pc and logged back in. It seems to work fine for now. It might help you aswell.

since I have created my account I am unable to respond on messages I recive in the xbox app. I have confirmed my cellphone number, and updated my security info. I am still not able to send any message, please help.

I have the same issue, it comes and goes. Restarting my laptop seems to get it working most times.

If you have registered an account under 18+ of age, that means you have a child account and only a parental account can change privacy settings.

live chat on xbox.com, on the console, or on the Windows 10 app? It is still on the Windows 10 app, but generally you can't send live chats unless you are on the phone and Windows 10 apps or in the Clubs on the console.
