Can’t select between performance and quality mode

Some games give you the option to choose between Quality & Performance. For your case you will need to choose Performance Mode I believe it make the game render in 1080p to load faster and run smoother in FPS.

I am pretty sure the Series X runs natively at 4K 120 FPS as long as the game supports it. You getting a 1920x1080 FHD monitor is 100% fine. Some developers have opted for a “Performance” mode and a “Quality” mode. So you might get a 1440p game at 120FPS
on the performance mode vs the same game at 4K with 60FPS on the quality mode.

You should be able to switch between the 2 modes in the video settings within the game....I changed from quality mode to performance mode a couple of weeks ago (for reference I use a Series X)

What happens when you go to the graphics setting in the game and try to change it? Is it not giving you an option?

I would point out that quality mode really isn't any better than Performance mode (in my opinion)...when I switched, I didn't notice any difference in the graphics or at least not enough to make me think "Oh, I must change it back). However, there can be a big difference in lap times etc...when I switched, I gained around 1 second for every minute I was driving which, in Rivals where I spend a lot of time, is crucial.

I’ve really enjoyed HDR as well. One of my favorite games to experience difference between performance and display quality is Shadow of War
