    Cant see virtual keyboard on Xbox App


    Hi,

    For a while now, when promoted to type in something on my Xbox One, the Xbox App no longer displays the keyboard type box on my Windows 10 laptop. I checked the 'show keyboard when typing on my console' option and that's switched on.

    The only thing that's changed on my network recently is a firmware upgrade for my router. Are there any ports I need to open on my router in order to get the keyboard to display within the app on my laptop? It was working fine before.

    Also having this problem ever since the new dashboard went live for all.

    Cannot get the virtual keyboard to appear on the xbox w10 app nor the smartglass app (Android).

    Virtual keyboard problem

    Odd. Could be an issue with that app, or something else. Have you tried connecting a keyboard or using your phone as a virtual keyboard to see if you have the same issue?

    Maybe the software that loads the keyboard must have been damaged, you have to test it on different screens to see if it is something wrong in all screens. Another option is to install the Xbox app and connect your console to it and use it as a virtual
    remote keyboard. The last case would be through a soft reset of the console.
