    Can't run any Xbox360 games on Series X properly.


    Error 8015190a. Keep getting credential error that leads to failure to download xbox360 profile.

    Methods tried:

    Hard restart-remove profile-add profile-uninstall game-reinstall game.

    Cleared XBOX360 storage.

    Made changes to XBOX avatar.

    Checked network status(all good)-changed to DNS 8888-8844

    Time zone is correct.

    Changed password for microsoft account.

    Reset console (keep game & apps).

    Cleared MAC address.

    Unable to play games from an external hard drive?

    It's only on the Series S/X that they can't be played on a regular hard drive. The hard drive is too slow to run the games properly. The One is fully capable of running all games from the internal or any external hard drive. The One wouldn't have been playing optimized games at the full S/X optimization due to hardware limitations.

    Why is it called series s version if it can't run it properly?

    Running on a new(ish) samsung TV so that shouldn't be the issue

    So you think removing the textures pack should fix? The textures pack was 61 gig so wasn't a small download.

    While the speed of the series s is great the other thing I was looking forward to was the graphics so it's disappointing can't play the game to its potential with texture pack etc

    On the Series S or Series X, games which are "Optimised for X/S" or games specifically designed for those consoles have to be run either from the SSD in the console or the Official Storage Card. They can't be run from any other external drives. Other games (Xbox One games etc) can be run from an external drive.
