Can't retrieve overwatch

I downloaded overwatch at my friends house on their Xbox one and I was on my profile, I did it with prepaid cards and no one else was signed in. Now It says i have to buy it and there's no option to download or anything. Helllpppp

Can't retrieve old gamertag

So I have a bit of a complicated problem. I was having trouble updating Skyrim V on my Xbox one and when I looked it up, it said I needed to restart my console. I did that and of course, I had to put in all my details again including my microsoft email and
password. I couldn't remember my password so I reset it but I still used the same email. For some reason, that gave me an entirely new profile and gamertag which means that all my game saves have disappeared, presumably on my original profile. My problem is
that I can't seem to find a way to get back to my first profile and thus all the saved game data. I still remember my old gamertag. I can't add a new account because like I said above, I used the same email for this new one. Can anyone help?

 

From the home screen, press Right Trigger and then press A to get into your library. Scroll to the very right and see if Overwatch is in the "Ready to install" list. If not, try power cycling your Xbox and try again to make sure everything's "refreshed".

Absolute worst case scenario might be you may have inadvertently installed the digital copy into your friend's account, but let's try the above first.

 

That does not work. I also have e mail confirmation saying that my account purchased overwatch.

 

Hmm... how about hard drive storage space? Do you have enough left on your Xbox One? Perhaps the game isn't automatically installing because of that? Overwatch requires 10GB + patches.

Have you also tried restarting your Xbox, too? It's always something to try if you notice weird behavior and things not working correctly in the system.

As a last resort, I'd give 1-800-4MY-XBOX a call and see if they can straighten out getting Overwatch downloaded to your console.
