Cant retrieve my fallout 3 Because Apparently it isnt in my region

Alright let me start off saying that i got Fallout 4 for christmas and i just found a fallout 3 code and i really wanted to play it but when i tried to redeem it on the xbox it said it doesnt support your region and under that it says it doesnt support my
language i then try and redeem it here and it says "Something went Wrong Give it another try. If this happens again, let us know by entering the code below at xbox.com/errorhelp so we can investigate." Its really annoying me because i dont know what i can
do i am pretty sure i got it from the U.S and not some other place yet it says that and yet i've played it on a different console "PS4" Unless this is just for Xbox then this is very annoying. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Issue: received my fallout 3 code in my xbox inbox.... now its gone... the message says cant retrieve. I contacted support and was told to post here.

That game is region locked. So in order to download it, your account region has to match your physical location and you have to be in a region where the game is available.

 

Yes i know Its Region locked But i never moved or anything i got it here and yet i cannot redeem it i dont know if you even read it

 

I did read it, but you didn't make it clear whether or not your account is actually set for the US. You just said you got it from the US.

Try going to Sign in to your Microsoft account to make sure your account information is correct. Even if it is, try re-entering your information. If it still doesn't work, you'll want to try migrating your account
region (even if it is correct). Sign in to your Microsoft account
