    Can't restore my Microsoft account to play Forza Horizon 5


    Good afternoon! I have this situation:



    Back in February 2024 I bought Forza Horizon 5 on Steam, I bought not through a bank card, but Steam wallet. The game was deleted somewhere in December 2024.



    Now I decided to install the game again, but in its main menu I entered my Microsoft account password wrong a couple of times, and my account got locked.



    That's where the problem arose. I can't restore my account via my phone number, because I changed my mobile number also in December 2024.



    To enter the card data (4 last digits) to prove that I bought the game I also can not - as the game was not bought through the card, but through Steam Wallet.



    What should I do now? Can I transfer the game data to another Steam account? Can I restore my Steam account if I can prove that I bought the game via Steam Wallet? I have a huge amount of progress there and I wouldn't want to lose it.

    The ban is only part of the OP issue...their main problem is that they cannot sign in to Forza Horizon 5 with a different Microsoft/Xbox account like you should be able to. Because of that they can't play due to the account being banned from XBox Live

    Generally, when you play a Microsoft game on the Playstation, you will be prompted that you need to associate an account with it, and all you need to do is sign in to your Microsoft account (you will need to enter your account and password) in order to play the game.

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I understand that you want to inquire about unlinking a Forza Horizon 5 account from your PlayStation 5.

    According to Forza Horizon's FAQ, linking a Microsoft account to a PSN account is on a title-by-title basis and permanent. Players have the ability to unlink the Microsoft account to that PSN account, for Forza Horizon 5, but will be constrained to relinking to only that specific and originally linked, Microsoft account.
