    Can’t respond to msg’s after app update


    I had a notification for an update for my Xbox app on my iPhone 7, so I updated it. After the update I received several messages throughout the rest of the day but I couldn’t respond to them from the app on my phone unless I created a new message and find
    and select the recipient. Before the update I could play on the console and if I received a message I could hit reply then type my response but now when I try to select “reply” nothing happens. This happened to messages from both the 360 and the One as I have
    both consoles. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and no change. Is there anything else I could do that would fix this?

    New Update Broke Notification Settings

    Problem still happens, and the Netflix app does also not respect when I set Kinect not to respond to voice commands after this update. The problem is, the app reacts to people speaking in the movies, in random ways I cannot describe.

    yep, confirmed that. Is under Ios 11 the case and for several players. Seems the answer button is not working anymore. The only way to answer is to press player profile and sent then over this a message. Hopefully microsoft is aware of it.

    To participate in the beta you would have downloaded the registration app and agreed to an NDA, and then your console should have received the update automatically after 2-3 business days. Can you see the forum thread at this link:

    I updated yesterday the app and after i tried to broadcast my xbox stopped responding and starting games. i forced to turn off the xbox. After i uninstalled and reinstalled the app and now wrks very well.

    Set contacts to friends only

    Msgs will still come thru but it would show as msgs from live not as msgs from friends

    Just don't respond to them

    Once blocked its blockes

    But if sent from another account then only your friends msgs will show from actual friends if your contacts are friend only
