Can't remove songs from a playlist?

This is getting frustrating. I'm limited to a thousand song playlist, so I'm trying to clear some songs that I don't listen to as much out of it. I keep getting this error message though: "Sorry, We can't remove songs right now. Please try again later."

Why is this happening?

How do I remove music from my Xbox music cloud collection?

I can remove a song from a playlist on my phone by deleting the entire album in the XBox App on my cloud-synced PC. This only works if the song is set for streaming. If the song has been downloaded, slide over to the song list and delete it first. The
song will still appear, in both the song list and the play list, but now the ((*)) icon will appear next to the artist's name in both lists. Then, go back to the PC and remove the entire album. The song (and any other streaming songs from that album) will
disappear completely from the phone. Any downloaded songs will remain where they were. You can then add the album back to "My Music" if you want.

Xbox Music playlists not in sync on WP8

Hello!

I have the problem that Songs i remove form a playlist on Windows 8 are not correctly removed from Windows phone 8 playlists. The removed Songs Show up at the end of the playlist on the phone. Is there a way to remove or resync the playlist?

Are you able to try removing music from your playlist online?

Have you got Xbox Music o a different device?

If so, you can try removing your playlist using that device

Hey there Chad! Hmmm...this is an odd one. Does this only happen with playlists? If you just play songs from your library (not from playlists) will it advance to the next song automatically? Also, have you tried making a new playlist and seeing if the same
thing happens in a brand new playlist?

Are you able to play all songs from a specific artist is you are to save all the songs in a playlist and play from the playlist option of the app? Does that help at all? Let us know. Thanks.

Yes - if it doesn't play one song from an album, it won't play any of them. I will try to connect via WiFi, but can't right now. It does play some of the music on the playlists.
