Can't Remove Old Xbox One X from game pass app

Thank you for affirming, it's not just me.

Same deal. I upgraded from the original Xbox One to a Series X. I could manage games from both the Xbox app and Game Pass app to my original Xbox One. I put my Series X into service on 1/28/21. Apparently ,from what I have seen there must have been app updates to the Game Pass app.

Now as you said, I cannot manage or install Game Pass apps remotely from the Game Pass app to the Series X. However, it looks like the Xbox App can manage the Series X.

I also factory reset the original Xbox One and packed it up. I also removed my original Xbox One from the Devices tab on my account.microsoft.com page and made sure my Series X was set as my home xbox.

Pretty confident that this is not me nor you.

Figured I would mention I have the same issue and hope they fix it soon.

For what it is worth, you can filter games in the Xbox app on your phone to show Game Pass games along with optimized for SeriesX|S and platform as Xbox One. Then you can at least see the Game Pass games in the Xbox app and remote install them that way as a work around.

Was able to delete it from Xbox app on iOS, after this old Xbox was removed from Xbox Game Pass app for iOS.

An update was released to users last week. On my Xbox One which is in the Insider Alpha Skip Ahead, the Play later feature is available. I've added games from game pass. When I go to my Xbox One X which is not in the program, I see Play later and the games
added from the Xbox One console in the program, but I cannot add more games, I can't remove the games that I had add from the Xbox One Console, etc.

I've posted through the Insider Hub of the Xbox One X console, but so far no
Play Later feature functionality.

I can normaly play EA games from game pass for example "Unravel Two" but I can't play games from game pass via xbox app. When i try to play game from game pass via only xbox app. I can't synchronize data and i have to log in, and then the xbox app shows me a code 0x89235107.

Here's what you can do in order to share your Xbox Game Pass on both Xbox Series X and old Xbox One console.

Sign in to your account where you have an active Xbox Game Pass on Xbox Series X console > press the Xbox menu button > go to Settings > Personalization > My home Xbox > Select Make this as my home Xbox.

That way, you will be enabling the game and subscription sharing from your account and all of the accounts that will be using the Xbox Series X console will have the benefits of your Xbox Game Pass subscription.

Sign out of the console then sign in on your old Xbox One console. In this way, you will be using the old Xbox Console where you can frequently use your account. As long as your account is signed in on your old Xbox One console, you will still have access to your Xbox Game Pass benefits while your kids can play your game pass on Xbox Series X console.
