    Can't remove a payment option.


    Ok so today, I decided I wanted to remove a payment option that I no longer use for Xbox Live purchases, from my account. After doing so, it gave me an error and said "The following subscriptions are associated with Visa xxxxxxxx. Please change the payment
    option for these subscriptions before removing Visa xxxxxxxx.

    Prepaid 3M Xbox Live Gold.

    The last Gold membership I bought via card expired months ago and auto-renewal is turned off. Also the past two Gold membership subscriptions of mine, have been added to my account by redeeming codes not by card payment, so why am I getting this error? It
    doesn't make any sense at all.

    I can not remove my payment option because it tells me that there is a problem with Xbox live and sends a status code 8C150009, which does not exist in the list of errors and codes, I need to remove my card payment option, Thank you

    Can't remove a payment option.

    Sorry but a payment option cannot be removed while you are in Gold status (even if you are just adding it using a prepaid card). You can either let your membership lapse temporarily to Silver when it expires then remove the card or contact phone support
    to see if they can remove the card for you.

    Are you getting the msg suspended for payment option? If so you must replace the payment method then call xbox support to turn off autorenewal when the account turn silver then you can remove it

    plans which you have had redeemed on your account, including the current one which is active. If you have any account trouble regarding your card details and payment information you can update those details through this website.

    For example: If you realize your credit card has expired then you will have to update your payment information, otherwise the xbox LIVE service will detect this and may issue you with a suspension when the system detects an invalid payment option. When you
    add the new card to that website you also have an option there to transfer the xbox LIVE subscription to your new payment method and this will ensure that you do not receive a suspension.

    Hey mate, you can't remove a payment option if it's attached to an active membership. I would turn off auto renewal and wait for your gold to run out, then if you don't want a payment option at all you will have to call phone support so they can help you
