    Can't reinstall digital copy , been over a week


    So i played the game fine for the first week , digital copy, then last week it wasn't working so i uninstalled , tried to reinstall and no dice.

    Did a hard reset , soft reset , played around with my power setting and changed them to energy saving, cleared my cache , nothing

    It says "queued" for a few minutes then "installation stopped !". Tells me "something went wrong" and gives me an error code "0x80073cf2" to enter at xbox.com/errorhelp, so i did and came up with nothing. Lol. This is getting kinda ridiculous and I know
    i'm not the only one with this problem.

    Is my game ever gonna work again or should i just try to get a refund? That would be very disappointing.

    GTA 5 will not reinstall on my xbox

    I paid for a digital copy of GTA 5 and have successfully installed it before and uninstalled for space. I recently got an external drive so I want to reinstall my game.. Unfortunately it says "instalation failed" and stops at 0%. Has been like this for a
    few weeks now and it is getting absurd. Either refund the game I can't play or offer a fix.

    I’ve been having same issue for 2 weeks. I have the digital copy, so I deleted and reinstalled, still had same issue.

    Just tried the power cycle suggested in this thread and I’m finally in!

    benefits of going digital?

    thats true that the download speed for digital copies will take a rather long time on ADSL connections. i have an ADSL ISP and have an average of 10.60Mbps D/L and .90Mbps U/L via Wifi. but ill be switching over to having it hardwired over the next week
    or two. i never had problems with the slow download speed especially since i have it download over night or while im away at class. would digital copies over physical copies installed to the hdd have the same loading times or would the digital copy be slightly
    faster?

    I'm also having this same issue. My son was trying all morning to play it and will not work. I just spent that last half hour figuring out what the issue was. Like the users mine is also a digital copy and a message comes up asking for the disc. I'm worried
    that I uninstalled it and now I risk losing hours and hours of gameplay. Including all the unlocked characters (which took days if not weeks to unlock).

    I'm beyond upset with Microsoft right now. I tried supporting "Digital Copy Purchases" and I just get *** over. Microsoft almost went Digital Copy only and now they can't even run it properly. I'm sorry to say, but disc copies only will always be the only
    way to go. There has been no benefits to digital copies. I have invested way to much time and money into Microsoft. Please fix this asap.
