Can’t reinstall Call of Duty Modern Warfare from disc

Hello,

I originally had COD MW installed successfully on my Xbox One X when the game came out but hadn’t played it yet. I went to finally start the campaign on 2/11 and it told me it was corrupt and i should uninstall and try again. I did and now the game won’t
install (installation always stops at 0%) The multipacks always take over and install no problem. I’ve tried everything known so far (cleared cache, hard reset, manually set DNS, tried installing offline) all have not worked. I don’t have any local saved games
for it so haven’t cleared that (if I did, it would clear all my other games). I’ve let it update and try to install the game and it still won’t install. Right now, I didn’t let the updates install but the multipacks are downloading but the game itself still
stopped installation.

Any suggestions? This is frustrating. Thanks!

Update. So I performed a factory reset last night and let the game load last night load and update overnight while I slept. I checked this morning and everything loaded (looked good so far, no installation stopped). I went to try and start the game and
received the same error. When I did a factory reset, I kept my games and apps. I may have to wipe everything and try again this afternoon. Here’s the error.

Thanks for the link. I checked them out and none of them fit my situation. I can play my other discs just fine. The game is loaded on my son’s Xbox One and he’s been playing it, the latest was Monday (the night before this all happened).

Update:

So i did a complete factory reset, this time wiping everything. I did put the disc in and it said it was loaded but with only one upgrade pack and two bonus packs that came with the game. I got the same error as pictured previously. So I’ve completely uninstalled
it and now performing a fresh install with the updates. All the new packs are in queue and the main game is at 15% as i type this. The bonus packs are ready to install but will wait until everything else installs. Will see how this goes.

I’ll give it a try tonight. I’ve reset the console once before and my games are all saved on a 8TB hard drive. I can test another game and see if the same issue arises. It’s ironic this happens the same day the season 2 update drops (which I was unaware
of until I had the issue of reinstallation). I’ll report back my progress. Thank you.
