    Can't Refund Gifted Game Codes?


    Hello, I recently gifted a game to a friend who lives in New Zealand whilst i Live in Australia, I was unaware that codes can not be redeemed across other regions. The problem i'm having is that i can't refund the gifted game which hasn't been redeemed yet and has been purchased 30 minutes ago. I would like to get a refund but there isn't an option on the 'Order History' Page. Do i just have to accept that i've lost money?

    I accidentally redeemed a code for Modern warfare 3 the vault edition on the wrong account I wanted to see if there was any way or chance I could get a new code or anything back

    Well no gift codes can't be unredeemed you can only refund gifts thats weren't redeemed or not working

    Retail codes that weren't gifted over xbox can't be refunded as ms wasn't the source

    Only the base game can.be shared not vault and you can't just buy vault as it only applies to digital game owners and yes this isnt the only company that does this

    This applies to.upgraded from.square etc

    You can't because you gifted them and he redeemed them

    Redeemed codes aren't refundable.

    Only codes that aren't or can't be used

    This includes gift xards and no they aren't transferable

    The played rule only applies to games you bought and played

    But since its a gift the redeemed rule applies

    Codes can't be gifted to other regions. You will have to request a refund.

    You can try submitting a refund request for your gift transaction by filling out the Manual Refund Webform at this link: https://support.xbox.com/en-AU/forms/request-a-.... You can find the order number of your transaction by signing in to your email at this link: https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders/.

    Once you're done submitting your request, you'll receive an email result within 72 hours and if your request gets approved, it will take 3-5 business days for the funds to reflect on your bank account but it really depends on your bank's policy.

    You can't. Codes from gifted games are region locked. So any codes you gift through Xbox would only be usable in the UK. You can try contacting support for a refund
