can't refer a friend to join rewards

I have many friends on the xbox one that I can not refer to the xbox rewards. it tells me I have no friends that do not qualify. what do they have to do? they have xbox gold, I play with a lot of them everyday. please help.

What referral offer are you having issue with? There is no offer to simply refer a friend to sign up for Xbox Live Rewards.

Refer a friend to xbox rewards

hello, good day fellow readers and gamers!

Ok now; I've been a member of xbox rewards for quite some time now I do love it. Now about 3 days ago (thur-sat; 1/18/18-1/20/18), I've had 2 friends that I tried to refer to xbox rewards and get the referral points, but it wouldn't work when we tried to
send the link, Or get a request.

They signed up anyways after I ranted on about how cool it was lol. But im left out on the referral points for getting them to sign up since the site/link was not working.

I've called in and spoke with a representative and was told that I needed to make a forum on here since the representative do not deal with the rewards program head on. So I'm here now (hello readers and gamers)

All in all was wondering how I could get the referral points for the referrals

Hello GODDESS BAST,

There is no offer to simply refer someone to join Xbox Live Rewards. If you are talking about the "Refer Friends, Earn Rewards" offer at the bottom of the MyMissions page, that offer is to refer a friend to Gold. Since your friends are already Gold members,
that offer cannot be sent to them.

Yes, since you were referred on the 19th, and did not register until the 21st, it would not have been possible to Reward you for that referral since there was no Rewards Account to award the referral to, as specified in the FAQ:

—Is there anything I should know about referring my friends?There are several eligibility requirements you must meet in order to earn Rewards for referring your friends, or for being referred by one of your friends.

To refer friends, you have to be an Xbox Live Rewards member and have Xbox Live friends who meet the eligibility requirements.

If you've been referred by your Xbox Live friend, you'll only receive your Reward if you successfully complete the offer by completing the required action within the set time period. You must also meet other eligibility requirements, like being older than
13 years of age and living in an eligible region.

While members can refer and receive Rewards for referring any of their eligible Xbox Live friends, if you are not a member and want to receive your Reward, you must join Xbox Live Rewards FIRST here.

Hm.

So, there is absolutely no form of compensation you can do? Even though I did join the Rewards program within those 48 hours.

Since you were referred on the 19th, you completed this offer and your friend was assigned their token for 1000 rubies. However, since you were not a Rewards member, you did not get a token. Only Rewards members can receive Rewards.
