Can’t redeem Xbox Live 3 month codes

Hi, I got two 3 month xbox live gold cards this weekend on Amazon. I am attempting to renew them both and get an error each time. I have tried repeatedly over 2 days with no luck on xbox.com and on my xbox. Help is appreciated.

Did you redeem XBOX LIVE code when you bought XBOX1? Sometimes they have a redeem code in there for like a month or 3 months.

I copied and pasted the codes to xbox.com and it still did not work.

Was it time for your subscription to end or did it seem to end early?

Where you on a renewing subscription previously or did you use pre paid codes like this for the last one?

You may want to check your subscription status at account.microsoft.com/services and make sure you do not have a past due amount on a subscription this error can happen if for some reason you have a past due amount due on a subscription.

Subscription expired yesterday, can’t play online today, so that is not the issue. Plus, you can stack 36 months of codes.

Thank you for that response, So you are seeing this error message on your Xbox One, you also mentioned you did this on the Xbox website, was this done on a mobile device or a PC?
