    Can't redeem Xbox game pass gift from Discord


    I have gotten quite a few of these before from Discord but can never use them.

    When I try to redeem the code it always says ''It was purchased in a different region from your account'', But my billing address for both Discord and Xbox are in the same country. Does it not work because Discord buys it for you or something??

    Xbox pc game pass just recently came to my country, does that have anything to do with it?

    Cool, the discord nitro code was invalid when i tried to take it using my friend's xbox, and now i don't have nitro, and can't do anything about it. (PC user)

    Well for one you cant redeem a discord code on a xbox its only a pc or mobile app

    The problem actually is, i can't redeem the Discord Nitro because it gets a ''Unknown Gift Code'' error (it's the code i got from the xbox), (trying on pc).

    Unfortunately it looks like Discord hasn't added a way to claim the Game Pass gifts for PC only subscribers as they describe here Note: Only Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers receive a Nitro subscription. At this point in time, there isn't a way
    for PC only Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to claim the Nitro gift.

    You may want to contact Microsoft Billing or Discord to discuss what your options are.
