Can't redeem Xbox Game Pass for PC code from AMD rewards

Hi, I've recently purchased an AMD processor and it came with a code for 3 month of Xbox Game Pass for PC subscription. However, when I click "Activate" button on AMD rewards website, it takes me to the https://redeem.microsoft.com/?mstoken=[here
comes the code] URL, where I see the error: Check the instructions that came with your code. You might need to redeem it on a different web page.

I googled a bit and the reason might be that I have recently moved to USA and my MS account still had my previous country in my profile. However, after changing the country to USA in MS account, I still see the same error.

Can anyone please advise what might be wrong here?

Probabily you get the xbox code in the AMD website. Try to redeem it in
AMD Rewards, just insert your coupon code and you will receive the Game Pass code.

Remember that you will need to have a AMD account to access the AMD coupon redeem page.

I'm assuming you have a code from AMD Rewards from getting their promotional bundle when purchasing one of their Radeon graphics or Ryzen processors: https://www.amd.com/en/gaming/game-bundle

You should have received an email from AMD or the retailer you purchased the processor from that links you to AMD Rewards to then redeem the code you have to then generate a 25-digit code for Xbox Game Pass for PC that you redeem through the Microsoft Store.

Hello, you have to open two web pages at the same time : one on microsoft (after loggin) and one on https://www.amdrewards.com/my-rewards. Clic activate.

Alexander, Did you receive an email with the code after claiming it on the AMD rewards site? If I remember correctly that is how I received the code when I redeemed my gamepass reward from an AMD purchase, the "activate" button you're clicking did not
actually activate it for me automatically.
