    I bought an xbox one controller and in the box it had a 14 day free trial code for game pass. But I do not know how to redeem it. I tried "redeem a gift card code" but that didn't work. I'm on windows 10. Help?

    A code that is already redeemed can't be used again and it can't be passed from one account to another

    Hi,

    No you can't purchase subs with credits from your account. You can buy a code for Game Pass but you need a payment method like credit card or PayPal - depending on the country you live in to redeem the code.

    You can turn off recurring billing after you have redeemed the Game Pass code if you don't want that.

    Since it's already been redeemed there's nothing that could be done. Codes will only redeem what they're made for. So even if it's an Xbox code, but you redeem it through the PC, you would still get Xbox content. So it would have been bought as a Game Pass for PC code instead of Game Pass for console.
