Can't redeem Xbox 360 DLC code; Any way around this?

Hey all!

Yes, I know that the Xbox 360 store is down, but I've also seen reports that some DLC codes may still work. Also, the first screen shows that the code is correctly identified as Mushihimesama Futari Ver.101 so that gives me some hope. Only when pressing "confirm" do I get the error (see screenshots).

Mushihimesama Futari is a Japanese game that is region-free, but I tried redeeming using my Japanese account just in case, and I get the same error.

Any ideas if there's a way around this?

There's not really anything that can be done with the store being down.

Unfortunately redeemed codes/purchased items can not be moved between accounts in any way.

Xbox support can't refund redeemed codes and make them usable again.

You will have to get another code as those are already used and can not be used again.

A way around this issue is to buy the content you want to use on the account that you accidentally redeemed the codes on and set that account as your my home xbox account and then you can share the games and DLC (with some exceptions) with your other account.

I am aware that the Xbox One isn't backwards comaptiable yet. But is there any way I can get a redeem code for my digital download copy of the Taken King DLC since I bought it on Xbox 360?

you are going to have to ask the publisher

Also should be noted that if your account region doesn't match your actual region it could be why you can't redeem the code and no there is no way around it since taken 6 is a Xbox 360 game

God I hate Sony! Can't redeem my code for Cat Woman as it's not available yet [PS3], though I just redeemed it on Xbox LIVE [360].

Just curious about the Robin DLC, as it will not let me redeem.
