    Hi,

    I can't seem to be able to redeem my pre-paid 12 months Xbox Live Gold code as my Xbox One X, Microsoft.com, Xbox.com and Windows Store in Windows 10 just tells me that I have to change my billing region for Microsoft Store in order to complete my purchase
    of Office 365 ?! Why it keeps referring to Office 365 is beyond me.

    I've attached a copy of the message, sadly its only available in Norwegian. I copy the link which takes me to a endless list of country and language options where I chose mine which would be Norway - Norwegian Bokmål (even though I prefer it to be Norway
    - English, but hey that's not possible I guess... I have to deal with having Norwegian language in various places on my Xbox One X for some reason as that's the only way to have Norway as billing region..).

    But even after changing this I still get the same message displayed over and over again every time I try to redeem my Xbox Live Gold 12 months code. I even tried to remove all my billing options on my Microsoft Account and re-adding them without any luck.

    The region on my Windows 10 installation, the region on my Xbox One X, the region on the website when using Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge are all set to Norway - Norwegian Bokmål but still its impossible to redeem the code.

    How do I solve this? And is there some way to ensure English as my language on my Xbox One X and in Windows 10 while still having Norway as my region? When selecting Norway as region the Store on the Xbox One X and the Windows Store in Windows 10 automatically
    switch into displaying everything in Norwegian even though all my system settings are set to English. Its really annoying.

    Thanks for making your post, just to clarify is the issue occuring with a Pre-Paid Microsoft Currency/ Xbox Live Gold gift card? Or a pre-paid Visa debit card?

    If you use a Pre-Paid Redeem Code Card, for a Xbox Live Gold Subscription, it doesn't show your full tenure Dakrkplayer2 (ie. Years on Xbox Live Gold)... My Profile & account, is showing two years on gold & i've been on 12 month Gold since 2008, with this

    I'm having trouble redeeming Xbox Live Gold 12 months. Returns the code: 801613c9. I've tried with 2 Xbox Live Gold Pre-Paid and did not work, always returns the same error.

    A third option would be to purchase a 1 year pre-paid Live Gold card. Enter the 25 digit code, and you will have 12 months without any billing.

    Did you purchase Xbox Live Gold through the Minecraft + Gold page through the Xbox One dashboard, or did you purchase a 3 Month Xbox Live Gold pre-paid code and redeem it? If you redeemed and Xbox Live Gold code, unfortunately you will not qualify for this
    promotion. To qualify for this promotion, 3 Months or 12 Months of Xbox Live Gold must be purchased through the Minecraft + Gold promotion page directly through the Xbox One console with a credit card on file.

    I turned off automatic renewal.

    Your best option would be to contact support and explain the situation that you cancelled your auto renewal and you redeemed a pre paid 12 month gold subscription card but you was still billed after.



    They will have records of your payment history and will also see that you redeemed a 12 month gold card. They should then reimburse you the $9.99. Also make certain with them that your auto renewal is off just in case they might bill you by mistake again
