    Hi, Guys,

    I saw another thread, and I then realized that a lot of people encountered the same problem like I do. Here is the case: I purchased GoW 4 online with my credit card a few weeks ago, and then I received a message last Thursday that contains 4 codes, i.e.,
    GoW 1-3 & Judgment. However, only the code for Judgment was successfully redeemed, and the rest of them were all failed.

    Well, I'm a Chinese(PRC), and my console was bought from Hong Kong, and it's a HKG edition indeed. Of course, the region of my Xbox Account is set to Hong Kong too. The reason for this madness is because I wanted to avoid the censorship of the government's...

    Let's go back to the topic. The error messages kept on saying that language/region mismatch, so I tried to change the region of my console into Hong Kong / Taiwan / USA, and Chinese Simplified/Traditional/English as its language, and all of those combinations.
    And I also tried to use PC browsers and even proxy to 'change' my IP into Hong Kong. After all of those numerous attempts were all failed, I then turned to Xbox online helpdesk, and I was told to try to change the region of my account back to China, and then
    I did. But still, I failed another time.

    That's why I create this post here to seek the solution. Because I'm wondering if the Xbox helpdesk gave me a wrong suggestion, and I actually should change the region of my Xbox account into USA instead?? And now, according to the account migration regulation,
    I can't do that again within 90 days.........

    Cant redeem Gears of War 1 code from Gears of War 4 promo

    I received 4 codes for the legacy Gears of War titles as a promotion for purchasing Gwars of War 4. I was able to redeem 3 of the codes fine but the Gears of War 1 code says it is not valid. Thank you in advance for the support.

    I've have been waiting as well, I bought mine from the MS online store. I bought the 1 TB version but still have not received the codes for the legacy collection.

    I also redeemed the code for the Gears of War 4 game.
    Same here. Still no codes. It states clearly on my card i am eligible for the gow 1,2&3.

    depends where you are living. I bought GoW 4 and hoped to play previous games also, but i could not because they are locked. I am disappointed because of it.

    Hey there -

    I see you mention that you purchased the console bundle in November of 2016. When did you redeem the code for Gears of War 4 that was included with the bundle? In order to qualify to receive the legacy collection, the token had to have been redeemed by December
    31, 2016. If you redeemed the code after that, unfortunately you would not qualify to receive the collection of prior games.

    Have not recieved my Gears of War Collection for purchase of Gears of War 4

    Same here it's been 15 days since I redeemed the code that came with the Limited Edition Console I purchased and I haven't gotten a single code for any of the games yet. I think we should be fairly compensated with an elite gear pack for every day over the
    official release day in which we haven't received our codes.
    I also purchased the LE GoW Console and haven't received my codes. I had already received access to GoW 2 and Judgement, but I think this was because I had previously purchased and played the Gears of War Ultimate Edition. Either way, I still haven't received
    any codes for the other various GoW games that I was supposed to get with the GoW Xbox One S LE console and it's been several weeks since I first played GoW 4 on my new GoW Xbox One S.

    Why is Microsoft doing this, if the GoW 1 Code is not redeemable in Germany?
