    I've been trying to redeem a code for a few hours now and I keep getting the same result. Anyone else having this issue/know a fix?

    Xbox One can run Windows 8.1's new universal apps

    CAN run. CAN. Not "will."
    PLEASE don't everyone totally freak out about this. Understand that there is a "Universal apps" thing Microsoft is working on, to make it easy to develop apps that run across Windows 8.1, Windows Phone 8.1, and Xbox One.
    I cannot stress this enough: This does NOT mean that all those apps in the Windows Store will suddenly show up on your Xbox One.
    What this does mean is that developers will be able to deploy an app to Windows, Windows Phone, and Xbox from a common code base. They'll have to make the interface different for the phone (portrait), windows (landscape), and TV (10-foot UI). They'll have to account for controllers and Kinect.

    Hello have you tried redeeming it both on the Windows 10 Xbox app and the Windows 10 Store as instructed in the following link,

    I would follow what L said. Its usually a problem with xbox services. Shut down the xbox and restart it OR redeem it on xbox.com as I believe you should still be able to redeem on the website.

    Instead of redeeming the code on the website, try redeeming it from the Microsoft Store app on Windows 10 or the Xbox console companion app, and see if that works instead. I would also remove the pictures from your post, as one of them shows the code,
    which someone else might redeem.

    When you redeemed your Java Minecraft on Mojang, you have gotten a 5x5 code to redeem Minecraft on the Windows 10 store.

    This redemption is a separate service of your Mojang account, and it's possible to use a Microsoft Account email that is different from your Mojang account email.

    Mojang (which gives you Java Minecraft) is separate from the Microsoft Windows Store App, which uses a Microsoft Account email when you redeemed that 5x5 code.

    After redemption of that code, the Windows 10 Minecraft is tied to the Microsoft Account email you used on your Windows 10 PC. From then on, you don't really need the Mojang account anymore, if you only want to play on Windows 10. You will then get the game
    from the Windows 10 store only, with the E-Mail account you used on the Windows 10 store during code redemption.

    So make sure you are signed in with the Microsoft Account email (which might not necessarily be the Mojang account email) when you use the Windows 10 Store app to re-download your Windows 10 Minecraft again.
