    Can't redeem codes for Gears 1 and 3 after buying Gears of War 4.


    "Hi, I got a message in the Xbox App for purchasing Gears of War 4 with 4 codes to redeem Gears of War 1, 2, 3 and Judgement. The redemption for Gears of War 2 and Judgement worked but I can't seem to get 1 or 3 working. I tried another time as advised when
    the error message "Something went wrong" came up, still nothing. I tried redeeming on a different computer with the same hotmail account but nothing happened. I tried putting the codes in this email but it's too long. Help?" -- That was my question to someone
    named Joan on an online chat. He/She checked both codes and advised me they both are still active and haven't been redeemed and that this is issue is handled by the promotion team. I was told I'd be given new codes and to not post here since it's a public
    forum. I would be contacted directly, apparently.

    Cant redeem all the codes of Gears of War 4

    Cannot redeem code of Gears of War 1 and Gears of War 3

    I got the Gears of War 4 with 4 codes for the titles

    Gears of War

    Gears of War 2

    Gears of War 3

    Gears of War Judgment

    i managed to redeem only Gears of War 2 and Gears of War Judgment. Why?Cannot redeem code of Gears of War 1 and Gears of War 3

    Can't redeem a code

    I bought gears of war 4 and it included the 4 previous games from the 360. I can only redeem the codes of gears 2 and gears Judgment and can't redeem those of gears 3 and gears 1

    ok what is your physical region and yes it's important

    If you live in Japan or china or any non xbox live regions that would be why

    In order to get those two games you need to live in an xbox live region

    New codes aren't issued you will only be given the same codes and they are universal but you need to comply with the promotional conditions as stated above

    Your account region has to reflect your actual regionregion

    Us foreign bases count as their host countries not the us

    And only by using your actual region will it work unless of course you don't live in an xbox live region in which case you are out of luck regardless if you receive a new code or not as the games themselves are region lockedgears 2 and judgement aren't

    The fine print says that "to qualify [for Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3 and Gears of War: Judgment] purchase and play Gears of War 4 on Xbox Live by 31 December 2016. Must be 17+" -- Have you played Gears 4 on Xbox Live yet? :)

    Cannot download Gears 1 and 3 codes

    I have this problem as well. I live in the UK and have download codes for all 4 Gears of War games (1, 2, 3 & Judgement). I cannot redeem Gear 1 or 3 but 2 and Judgement redeemed fine.

    Cannot download Gears 1 and 3 codes

    Same issue for me. I have been able to redeem codes for Gears of War 3 and Gears of War Judgement, but haven't been able to redeem Gears of War 1 and Gears of War 3. I also tried in microsoft.com/redeem with my Xbox associated account and didn't work either.

    Could someone advise on how to proceed further?

    I can't download two codes for Gears 1 and Gears 3

    If you purchase and redeem Gears of War 4 on Xbox One or Windows 10 between April 25, 2016, and December 31, 2016, or if you redeem a code for the game as part of a console bundle before December 31, 2016, you'll receive the following Xbox 360 backward-compatible
    games:

    Gears of War

    Gears of War 2

    Gears of War 3

    Gears of War: Judgment

    These codes are only playable on Xbox 360 or Xbox One. They won't work on Windows 10.

    If you didn't receive a code, it may be for one of the following reasons:

    1. You didn’t make a purchase or pre-order for Gears of War 4 on Xbox One or Windows 10.

    2. For the Fan Appreciation Gift promotion, you didn't play a previous version of Gears of War, you don’t have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription, or you haven’t signed in to your account in the last 12 months.

    3. You live in a region where Gears of War 4 isn't available, or your account is based in a region where the game is unavailable.

    4. You're not signed in with the account that was used to purchase Gears of War 4 during the campaign dates mentioned above.
