    Error using the promo codes for Gears 1 and 3

    I recently received some promo codes for Gears of War. Some of the codes did not work. Using them on Xbox one threw an error about the wrong language. Using the codes on the site threw "Something went wrong" error. The codes are for Gears of War 1 and Gears
    of War 3. Any idea what should i do to redeem the codes?

    What error message/error code are you receiving? Does your account region match your physical location?

    Most of the time the issue with redeeming codes for that games are region related. The game is region locked so in order to download it, your account region had to match your physical location and you have to live in a region where the game is available.

    1. Is it just Battlefield 3 that won't play or is it other games that don't play either?

    2. If other games won't start do they give the same error code?

    3. Did you enter that code into the search box? and, if so, what did the site give back?

    4. I ask because I can't start several games on my console and get the error code 0x800705aa every time I tried.

    5 I tried 3 to 5 different games and all of them gave me the same error message.

    I have this same problem, except I redeemed my code and it said there was an error downloading Fallout 3 and to try again, and now the code doesn't work as it's saying it has already been redeemed, yet Fallout 3 isn't in my downloads queue or showing up
