Can’t receive any invites to party or games on Xbox series x, I’ve done everything the...

None of that works, I even reset Xbox to factory and nothing. Pretty sure it started on Microsoft’s latest update

I am also having an issue with party chat. i often have my pc on while playing, and when i get an invite, it pops up on the pc but not the console.

I have found that, if i hold the power button on the controller, then hit restart console, the party invite will be there when the console reboots and allows me to join it that way.

Its an absolute pain to do, but that's the only way i can join the party at the moment. I have not attempted to host one.

To any ambassadors reading, i have, at the time of writing, not yet filed a bug report but i shall do shortly

Thank you for the update and I apologize for the trouble, we may need to report this in that way they can deploy a fix since you've mentioned that this started after the update.

Select Search, and then enter Xbox Report a Problem in the search box.

Just a friendly reminder though that there are multiple reports in regards to the said issue, however, there are no official announcements yet from Microsoft which means that we just need to perform troubleshooting steps.

Kindly perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

" 1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state."

I’m having the same problem trying to plag Civilization Revolution. Game invites used to be spotty (~50% would actually be received) but starting today nothing I’ve done has gotten any of the invites to go through.

Sending regular messages over the 360 works, and I can even send and receive 360 party invites, but no game invites.
