Can't quit gamepass subscription due to an error

Hello there!

I wanted to quit my gamepass subscription today but i get an error message (without error code) all the time.

I payed 1€ for three months for my gamepass subscription - as advertised - and want it to end when the time is up. So i decided to head to xbox.com, to log into my account and to deactivate the automatic, recurring payment. Now the only thing i get is an error
message that says i should try again. But no matter how many times i try, the error message remains. Is this a method to prevent people from cancelling their subscriptions or what am i doing wrong?

I tried it again one hour ago and now suddenly it finally worked.

Dear Chris, sad to hear about your problem. I think this is matter for support. Go to their website, try billing and accounts and report problem please. Whish you the best of luck...

I'm on my pc, so i tried it on the website. Just tried it again now, still doesn't work.

I'm going to report the problem but what if i get no answer? Should i take out my pay pal and credit card informations if i can't cancel the recurrent payment?

A friend of mine had the same error messages a few months ago with his gamepass subscription, but it worked at the end because he stayed persistent and tried to cancel it over and over again.

I think this is just an error from Microsoft itself so please try contacting the

customer support. I checked and no services are down at this moment but do contact them first!

I think they removed the live chat so there is only a bot to help you showing you other forum threads.. maybe theres one that can help you out there..

link shows how to cancel the gamepass.. maybe read through it to check if you might've done something wrong.. i highly doubt you have though.

I haven't had this problem myself but maybe it just shows an error because.. you either just paid for it and its still processing it.. or because its not close to running out yet.. i know that shouldn't make any sense or it should not matter because you
should always be able to cancel something but that might be the reason..

My knowledge of this doesn't go too far but i really hope i may have helped you a small bit
