Can't purchase movies and tv on Xbox one.

Since the new update on the 24th for the Xbox one preview program I haven't been able to purchase any movies or tv on the Xbox one movies and tv app. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it tonight after the new update came out and shows a whole new
movies and tv app now and it's completely different. I still can't buy any movies or tv shows and I'm getting really irritated. I also tried a whole power restart for my Xbox and it still doesn't work.

No option to buy content in Movies and TV

I have tried to purchase and watch a number of movies and/or TV episodes from the marketplace today on my Xbox One and it's not letting me do so. I can't even find a purchase option for the movie/TV episode. I can play trailers but I can't buy a movie
to watch. Is there a known issue that I'm unaware of? I am running the latest update that was released this week.

I'm able to watch all my xbox movie, most of my apple TV things and most of my Amazon movies on my xbox.

 

Are you trying to purchase from the Movies & TV Store? And have you submitted your issue via the Feedback app to help us diagnose?

Yes I am trying to purchase from the Movies & TV store on Xbox one and it won't let me buy any movies or tv shows. I can't even get to the purchase phase because when I click on the movie or tv show it won't even do anything, I can just keep clicking without
it going to the purchase phase.

 

I can't purchase movies or tv series i think the new update has messed up with my purchasing. I have tried to reinstall the app but it doesn't do anything when I try to purchase a new movie I hope it will be fix soon

 

Yesterday morning I downloaded the latest update and now I am unable to buy or rent any movies or TV shows threw the marketplace. When I click the buy or rent tabs I get a reminder that says "This Xbox One can't play purchased movies or TV shows. If you
buy something, you'll use real money and you won't be able to play what you buy." There is no error code on the reminder and I haven't changed any settings on my Xbox One since I bought it. i have done everything i can think of short of a factory reset to
try and fix this problem.

 

Thanks for reporting. If you haven't already, can you submit your issues via the Feedback app to investigate? And for clarification: purchasing and renting from the Store means going to the Store Twist in the Shell, scrolling down to the Movies/TV category
and trying to purchase/rent from there. That should work for everyone? We are replacing the old Movies & TV app with a UWA Movies & TV app that we just published to the Store, that's the app that you can use to playback what you have purchased and rented.
In the coming days, we will be migrating the old app to this new Movies & TV UWA app, apologies for the inconvenience this is causing through the transition.

Same as others. When I click buy, nothing happens. No pop up, no purchase screen, nothing. Unable to purchase anything through either app. Thanks.

 

You should be able to purchase through the Movies & TV section in the Shell Store twist. We have also released the latest Movies & TV UWA app (that will replace the existing one), that you can install from the Store Twist, App section (3rd item). You should
be able to buy and play through the new version, we know it's broken in the older version that we are working in replacing soon.

 

I was trying to purchase, Minions, and it kept denying my payment. I tried to buy this for my little girl.
