Can't preload Gear 5 with Game Pass Ultimate on PC

You need to install the May update for windows 10 to install gears.

Try performing a hard reset. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

Hey all, been trying to pre-load Gears 5 on PC but the option is just greyed out in the Microsoft Store. I own every god damn Game Pass. On the website for Microsoft Store it gives me the option to but takes me straight to the app and I'm given
the same greyed out 'Install' button.

Your not the first one to have this problem today think its server bug/over load

Also, Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will have access to the Ultimate Edition of Gears 5.

Did you pre-order the game? You can only download early if you have already pre-ordered it or do so now. This game is not available just because you have ultimate or game pass.

I have Game Pass Ultimate, and I was able to download the game when the pre-load when live.
