Can't play Xbox game pass games

    Can't play Xbox game pass games


    So I got GamePass a few days ago, downloaded and played 'Deep Rock Galactic' which worked just fine.

    Afterwards I downloaded 'A Plague Tale Innocence'

    but when It finished downloading/installing and I tried to open it from the xbox app i got this error message:


    Can't play Xbox game pass games [​IMG]


    It seems frustrating to me as windows put it in a hidden folder itself, surely it should remember I just installed it.

    So I have read some posts on forums and tried different stuff (these I can remember at the moment)

    - open the game from windows store page -> Same error

    - restart computer

    - get newest windows version

    - repair and reset the app in Apps & features

    - open the game from the search bar in windows -> Same error

    - re-downloaded the game a few times (60GB Can't play Xbox game pass games :( ) -> Same error

    - tried with a differend game 'Overcooked 2' -> Same error

    - logged in on all xbox/microsoft accounts

    - downloaded/Installed on 3 different drives

    All the while 'Deep Rock Galactic' still works fine.

    Never had this problem in either Steam, Uplay, Epic or Origin. I just want to try out my limited time Game Pass Ultimate!

    It's a paid service it should be consumer friendly.

    I really hope some of you know the fix to this

    Problem with log in to account on xbox app.

    I can normaly play EA games from game pass for example "Unravel Two" but I can't play games from game pass via xbox app. When i try to play game from game pass via only xbox app. I can't synchronize data and i have to log in, and then the xbox app shows me a code 0x89235107.

    Can I keep Xbox 360 games downloaded on Xbox One Console with Game Pass 30 day trial after it expires

    Game Pass Games are subscription based games, and only Backwards Compatible 360 games for the Xbox One work with Game Pass.

    If you have Game Pass Ultimate, which includes Gold, you can keep the Games With Gold for Xbox 360. But with only Game Pass, you can't play any backwards compatible games on the 360, and on the Xbox One, the games stop working after your Game Pass trial
    ran out.

    So in short: No, you can't keep Game Pass Games, be it Xbox One or Xbox 360 games. And Game Pass doesn't work on original Xbox 360 consoles at all.

    There are Xbox 360 games included in the Game Pass, but you can't use Game Pass on your Xbox 360 console.

    Only on Xbox One through Backwards Compatibility you can play the 360 Games
