Can't play with skylander or disney infinity when playing halo reach is ok...why?

Hi,

I have an issue with my xbox 360. I'm not able to play skylander or disney infinity. the games are launching but at the last loading step before playing, it freezes...

When I try another game, everything is ok.

The disc has been replaced and I tried with a brand new one, no results.

I have emptied the system "cache", no results.

I tried without the hard drive, no results.

I checked connections to the tv, no problems there.

If you have any idea to resolve this, i'm all ears.

So infinity is better than skylander?

Whats the difference between infinity and slylander?

& can are the skylander mini games like the games on mario party?

No online play?

 

I need XBOX one friend that will be on almost every day

Oh, also it shows me online playing Minecraft. If it ever shows me on Minecraft it means my kids are playing but Kinect has signed me in lol. Same with Disney Infinity, Skylanders, Just Dance or any kid like games lol.

 

Hey mate, did you try installing the game to the HDD? This can prevent a lot of freezing issues, if the disc doesn't make it through the install though, I would say there is still something wrong with it.

You can install games like so:
support.xbox.com/.../install-play-delete-game

 

Thanks for your answer, unfortunately yes... I tried it as well.

I even erased the files from the old disc and installed a new copy of the game with the new disc on the HDD but still no results.

You didn't comment if the install made it to 100%?

Also is the HDD an official Xbox One or a 3rd party? Have you tried putting the games on a formatted USB and trying like that?

I haven't tried the formatted usb yet.

But, a few minutes ago, I put the display settings to 480p and the game did start. It crashed a few seconds afterwards though. Then I put the settings back to 1080p and now the game is working. I need to wait and try several times before complete victory
on this issue but I have hope now. I don't know what caused this...

No worries, sounds good! Sometimes there is no explanation to why an electronics product is being silly, so hopefully an isolated incident. =)
