Can't Play With Headset 7.1 Logitech G430 With Windows Sonic Surround Sound At My Xbox One X

Hello there, could anyone help me?

I brought an Xbox One X yesterday and when I try to use my Headset Logitech G430 trought Xbox USB, turning on Windows Sonic Surround Sound, it doesn't work.

The same headset works perfectly in my desktop using 7.1 audio in Xbox One Beta Games.

Unfortunately with USB you can only use xbox licensed headsets due to the fact they use their own codec. You would have to use the connection through the controller to get it to work. Any 3.5mm 3 pole aux cable should work as long as your headset has the
3.5mm jack on it also.

Hi Lemm,

I have the same headset for my PC and to use it on my Xbox One it needed to be connected via the controller. To do that you will need a connector that joins the headset and mic jacks into one jack to plug into the controller. In the end my experience with
them on console was sub par and I ended up picking up a separate headset for my Xbox. Hope it helps

I'm planning to buy logitech g933 because it 7.1 surround sound.I want to use 7.1 surround sound on xbox one.The xbox one can't use usb headset.Yeah,Xbox have dobly atmos but not very games.Most the games i play doesn't support dobly atmos.I think studio
for fps games are still bad for me.Games like call of duty blank ops 4 And battlefield 5 that doesn't support dobly atmos.So i want to know that if i connect xbox console companion(PC) to play xbox one on pc.Will it be 7.1 surround sound if i use 7.1 headset

If I'm understanding you correctly you'll be using this headset on PC to play Xbox One games streamed from your Xbox One using the console companion? With the headset on PC it's a fake 7.1 anyway simulated by software, if the games don't have a mix for 7.1
then no, it won't be able to do 7.1. You may get the surround sound mix it has but, again, it's simulated by the software for the headset.
